Lyyra invites you to be present in the moment, away from the distractions of modern life as they give their London debut at Kings Place. Exploring repertoire for upper voices and pushing the boundaries of vocal range, this programme presents music chosen by the women of Lyyra, spanning the centuries. It contains original works and arrangements from their home of the USA from composer/arrangers including Kerry Marsh, Ellen Gilson Voth, Don MacDonald, Blake Morgan and JVKE. The programme also features the world premiere of The Wild Geese, composed specially for Lyyra by English composer Francis Pott.
