Our work centres on building and sustaining international careers. Podium Music is proud to work with internationally recognised performers and composers.
We collaborate closely with artists to develop touring activity, shape recording and creative projects, and establish strong relationships with promoters, venues, and publishing partners worldwide.
Our Approach
We take a long-term, strategic view of each artist’s career.
By maintaining a focussed roster we are able to work in close partnership with the artists we represent, offering consistent guidance, thoughtful planning, and a high level of personal engagement.

Robin Tyson

Robin founded Podium Music in 2009 having had an international performing career as a countertenor for the previous 20 years. He was a choral scholar at King’s College Cambridge before singing across Europe, the USA and Asia as a soloist in concerts and on the opera stage. His solo recordings include those on the award-winning SDG label, which released all of Sir John Eliot Gardiner’s Bach Cantata interpretations. Robin went on to build up a huge amount of knowledge and experience as a member of The King’s Singers, with whom he won a Grammy® Award as performer/producer in 2009 (‘Simple Gifts’) and MIDEM Award in 2010 for best filmed performance (BBC Proms concert from the Royal Albert Hall). From 2009-2011 he was Head of Artistic Planning at Gabrieli Consort and Players, and from 2011-2023 Podium Music ran the artist management company at the Edition Peters Group.
Phoebe Wakefield

Phoebe is a mezzo-soprano who has recently started her freelance career. She was a VOCES8 Scholar in the 25/26 cohort, alongside being alto choral scholar at Wells Cathedral (2024/26). She graduated from Royal Holloway in 2024, where she held a choral scholarship with the Choir of Royal Holloway and the alto scholarship at St Bartholomew the Great from 2023–24. Alongside being a dedicated ensemble singer, she is a versatile soloist, having studied Voice and Conducting at Junior Guildhall prior to university. Phoebe is now a lay clerk at St Albans Cathedral, still working for the VOCES8 Foundation on education projects, performing as a part of the VOCES8 Scholars Ensemble, and freelancing wherever it takes her.
